As a For-Benefit organization, all of transForms’ profits are dedicated to furthering its mission and supporting organizations that are engaged in education, the arts, children’s issues, human rights, healthcare, disaster relief, housing, the environment, and other causes. Each transForms Marketplace participant (i.e. artist, retailer, etc.) has the option to designate a proportionate share of transForms’ profits to causes or organizations they want to support. This has no bearing on the reasonable commercial profit they make from conducting business with transForms, although they are invited to contribute a portion of their own profits as well.

Funding recipients must be registered 501(c)3 non-profit organizations. To ensure accountability, all philanthropic distributions and due diligence are conducted through the transForms Giving Fund managed by the Calvert Foundation, a pioneer in the field of social investing with a 20-year track record of stability and community impact.
